Loop Natural
Build a small lab ecosystem with cells who love to chill.
In your lab you experiment with building artificial resource loops. These loops deliver much needed resources (food!) to your cells. The cells eat these and transform the resources --- from one state to another and vice versa.
Your goal is to build an ecosystem which survives - in a way that you use all available cells.
How to play?
- Mouse left click - select and place cells.
- Right click or ESC - unselect / cancel cell placement.
- Mouse wheel or A-D - rotate cells.
Once a cell is placed, you cannot move it or remove it.
Game Jam
This game is made for two game jams in parallel. Two themes - DOUBLE the fun!
GMTK 2025. Theme: LOOP. The game moves resources in a loop. Also the resource states change in a circular manner. A small experiment to see how circular economy can work - and learn from processes in nature.
HEJ 2025 July (Havi Egy Játék). Theme: LESS IS MORE. The game is not only done in a minimalistic way (both the controls, and visual) -- but it does it in a SUPER overdone way. I used no graphical assets other than the Unity built-in basic shapes (circle, capsule, etc).
The game was built in less than 4 days (had to work 2 days so it's really more 2 days vs. 4) - in line with GMTK jam timelines.
Made by: Tóth László
The game is a real time puzzle game with a chill vibe.
The game is an early prototype and serves more a demo or concept test vs. a full game.
Tools
Engine: Unity 2022.3.55f1
Art: NO EXTERNAL TOOLS USED - Can you believe this??? Only Unity default shapes.
Sounds: Reaper
Shout-out
The game proudly uses great work of:
- Music: This Place Has Never Known So… Clemens Ruh from uppbeat.io
Known Issues
- Two cells can be placed on top of eachother. Run out of time to implement the collision logic. So don't overcrowd those cells, who knows what will happen.

I enjoyed the game. It also has very chill music
I loved this game! A unique puzzle game that definitely fits the theme. Most puzzle games are often too easy or too difficult, but this feels both equally challenging and rewarding.
The only thing I'd change is maybe making the rotation speed of the cells a little slower, but other than that I really enjoyed this game!
